On May 23 Lord Lexden was guest of honour at the annual prize-giving ceremony at Brooke House College in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
The college is a highly regarded member of the Independent Schools Association and of the Council for Independent Education: Alistair Lexden is President of both bodies.
He spoke admiringly about the achievements of the mainly international students of the 230-strong college, and praised the commitment of the teaching staff, before presenting a large number of awards recognising success in academic work, in sport(particularly football) and in contributions to the communal life of the college.
