Alistair Lexden returned to one of his frequent topics–the truth about the origins of One-Nation Conservatism—in an artticle in Parliament’s magazine The House on 13 January.

Disraeli is wrongly credited with the strand of conservatism that seeks to unify the two nations of rich and poor. As Lord Lexden reports, Stanley Baldwin was the original one-nation Tory.
