Alistair Lexden has presented a number of awards in the House of Lords over the last few years; on 16 May he unexpectedly received one.

The award came from the Food, Drink and Agriculture Group of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, with which he has been closely associated for some years. With some 800 members across the counrty, the Group is at the forefront of increasing still further the success of Britain’s massive food and drink industry with its four million employees. The Group’s training sessions and discussion meetings help maintain high professional standards.

The words on the glass trophy, presented at the Group’s annual dinner, record ‘many thanks from the FDA Group of the CIM for your invaluable support’. In thanking Alistair Lexden, the Group’s President, John Giles, praised his website—as an example of highly successful personal marketing!
