The Council of British International Schools (COBIS), which has over 100 member schools throughout the world from Berlin to Kathmandu, has appointed Lord Lexden as its Vice-President.
COBIS paid tribute to his record in education: 'Your personal experience of working with British independent education when you ran the Independent Schools Council gives you a detailed and special understanding of its importance and successes'.
