In most countries of the Commonwealth homosexuality is a criminal offence. Alistair Lexden has campaigned for an end to this appalling abuse of human rights throughout his time in the Lords. He returned to the issue on December 17 in a debate on the recent Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Malta.
