Lord Lexden joins discussion of the bicentenary of the only British prime ministerial assassination

On 25 April he made a short contribution to an exchange of comments in the Lords about the assassination of Spencer Perceval who was shot dead in the lobby of the Commons on 11 May 1812.

Perceval is the only Prime Minister in British history to have been assassinated.
